Hello, I'm Viv

My love of design all started when I won a drawing competition at four years old. With the prize money, I bought my older brother a game boy. I realised I had an artistic flair, and from that day I knew I could make a difference with it.

Who am I?

“And though she be but little, she is fierce.”

As a child, I surprised and delighted in all facets of life. I approached childhood with endless energy, unexpectedness, and creativity. I was known as the ‘Pocket Rocket Princess’ of Karate and the school yard, and you never knew what I was going to do next.

Fast track to high school where I became Art Captain during VCE. There were often times where I was told “You’ll never make a career from art or design” or “There’s too much competition between creatives”, but I persisted and knew that it was my life’s passion. I was determined to design - no matter how challenging - because this is how I grow.

A little unexpected

My favourite design project to date is a self-initiated mini campaign, “Sorry, A Dog Ate Your Christmas Present”, where I was able to include all of my favourite things in life. Dogs. Design. Generosity. Friends. We decided that the Christmas budget would be better spent on puppies rather than presents that year. All client present were thereby, eaten (donated) by my new fur-baby, and a donation was made to our not-for-profit neighbours, Lort Smith Animal Hospital via a giant bone-shaped cheque. It went towards adoption, training and caring for sick and injured animals.

From sharing my friends designs on social media, to seeing a client or fellow designer smile in delight, seeing others succeed fills my heart with joy and drives me to be a better person.

What’s next in my future? I aspire to lead my own creative agency, and surround myself with creative, generous and loyal individuals who thrive on a challenge, just like myself. Until then, I am experiencing and embracing every opportunity that will lead me to where I want to go.

Always be creative, embrace a challenge, persist your dreams, be loyal and endlessly generous (like a dog).

I've worked with some amazing people so far
